Tell me about yourself ?

I am an advocate and mostly working in the Consumer Courts and in the Civil Courts. I am in this profession since 2002 with good reputation. I am permanent resident of Ranchi, Jharkhand. I am very much enjoy this profession.


What inspired you to make your career in the field of law?

The profession of law is a very dignified and challenging. The role of an advocate is very prominent in the society. An advocate has lot of opportunities to help the needy and poor. On the other hand an advocate can earn his livelihood and even earn more depending upon his own merits.









What are your strengths?

My strengths are my hard work and maintaining good relations with people. My good behavior and hard work helped me to get new cases/matters. The hard work leads to good result of the cases conducted by me.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?

I see myself in a very good position in my profession in the next 5 to 10 years. The legal profession depends upon the hard work, good relations and updated knowledge of the judgments of higher courts. In addition to hard work and maintaining good relationship with clients, other advocates and learned judges I keep myself updated with the resent judgments which helps me and shall also help my in improving my carrier as an advocate.

Tell me about an accomplishment you are most proud of.

Firstly I am proud of being an advocate as it was my aim. Secondly I am also proud of my performances when after my hard work I win the cases of my clients. I felt most proud upon myself when I won a very difficult case before the District Consumer Forum, Ranchi. The case was difficult and there was very less chance of winning but due to my hard work and good placing before the court I have been able to win. My client became so happy as even he was not expecting to win his case.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is to become a top most lawyer in the field of consumer cases. My further dream is to give reliefs to my clients who are cheated by the traders / companies in the form of bad product or services.

What would you look to accomplish in the first 30 days/60 days/90 days on the legal job?

I being an practicing advocate would like to first complete my pending works and would also like to study as much as I can to improve my legal knowledge. I would further like to arrange my office in a better manner. Now a days due to `Covid 19' we advocates are attending courts through virtual mode which gives much time for works other than attending the cases.

Discuss your educational background.

I have done graduation in arts from Ranchi University and then completed my LLB from Chotanagpur Law College, which comes under Ranchi University. After LLB I joined legal profession in the year 2001 and has been practicing mainly in civil court and consumer court under the guidance of my senior.

Tell me how you handled a difficult situation.

My hard work and sincere efforts always helped me in handling the difficult situations. Facing difficult situation is a normal phenomena in this profession but if it is handled with honest efforts then said difficult situation will becomes normal one. So nothing is difficult if it is done in disciplined and panned manner.

What motivates you?

Legal profession is a prestigious profession which motivates me to work with this profession. Three things are very impotent in this legal profession which are hard work, straight forwardness and presence of mind which motivates to continue in this profession.

Are you a leader or a follower?

I am neither a leader or follower rather I believe in hard work with full dignity which is the key factor of success in legal profession.

What was the last law book you’ve read for knowledge?

I use to read several law journals and law books regularly but recently I have gone through the law book known as Consumer Protection Act relating to the recent 2019 amendments.

Your interests apart from studies?

Studying law books are part of my profession apart from the same I use to play football and chess. I also use to see Hindi movies and listen songs in the free time.

The best experience and a success habit you would like to share for our readers that would encourage them.

Since very beaning of my legal profession, hard working and dealing the clients with honesty paid me full satisfaction in my work. It advisable to always be honest and hardworking with sincerity and dignity which are the keys of success.

Where are you working currently?

Since very beginning I am working in civil Courts at Ranchi as well as in Consumer Courts at Ranchi. Apart from this I use to attend Jharkhand High Court.

Any suggestion for new lawyer?

Be punctual, disciplined and honest that will help you in becoming a good lawyer. In addition you should properly handle your clients and give them utmost satisfaction. The of study law books and journals are the key factor of knowledge. A lawyer should always ready with his case file before presenting his matter before any court of law. This will increase the performance and also give satisfaction to the lawyer himself/herself.
