Tell me about yourself ?

I graduated in law from Campus Law Center of Delhi University in the year 2010. I have worked extensively in various industries and sectors and advised clients on legal issues in variety of fields ranging from, Corporate, Commercial Law, Banking, Security & Exchange, Real Estate, Property, Media and Entertainment. Now I am working very closely with a number of Banks, Financial Institutions and Asset Reconstruction Companies. I have spearheaded many large disputes in various courts and tribunals. 

What inspired you to make your career in the field of law?

I always fond of learning new thing and Practicing law gives an opportunity to learn life long. Career in law gives good opportunities and return in a small investment. Practicing law gives an good opportunity to serve the society. It is evident from the history that the Lawyers have been a torch bearer in the society.

What are your strengths?

Enthusiasm to learn new things and accept new challenges. Ready to learn from juniors as well. Managing and utilizing the time properly.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?

I will gain expertise in various other fields of the law in next five years and will enhance the clientage. I will also do pro-bono work for needy so as the common man can get the justice without incurring any financial liability.

Tell me about an accomplishment you are most proud of.

There are various accomplishment, One is difficult to choose. Whatever matter/task we take in our hand, we always do our best with at most honesty to complete it within the reasonable time. Quality work is always in our office culture.

What is your dream job?

I am already practicing law. There is no other job better than it. Practicing law gives ample opportunities to learn and earn. Initially it may not be appealing in terms of money, however, with the time and effort, it prove a limitless.

What would you look to accomplish in the first 30 days/60 days/90 days on the legal job?

We don't keep target for 30/60/90 day as these period are too long. If there is any urgent matter, we need to work overnight and finish it. Generally, we never made our client to run after us to accomplish his work. We complete it before the client expect it to be done.

Discuss your educational background.

I graduated in law from Campus Law Center, University of Delhi. I have done my Post Graduate and B.SC from M.M.H. College Ghaziabad of Meerut University. I done my schooling from U.P. Board. During my college days, I used to teach Physics and Maths up to B.Sc.

Tell me how you handled a difficult situation.

I always give my best with courage and patience. If there is any challenge, we don't need to afraid but face it with best of our ability. Such challenges always gives an opportunity to think and act out of the box which is necessary to be success in any field.

What motivates you?

Desire to learn and accept the challenges always motivate me. I never afraid to take new challenges as the same are very helpful to shape your carrier and personality. Honesty and Hard work is the only key to success.

Are you a leader or a follower?

I am a leader and follower as well. Sometime I lead, however, sometime I follow to learn new things. I always eager to learn even from Juniors. I am always open for the suggestions. I also learn form my seniors and even tried to adopt their working style whether it is drafting or arguments.

What was the last law book you’ve read for knowledge?

I read and refer many law books during daily routine work

Your interests apart from studies?

meditation, fitness and music. I always wake up early in the morning and do some outdoor workout. Some time I do yoga and meditation also. I also like Hindi Bollywood and Classical music.

The best experience and a success habit you would like to share for our readers that would encourage them.

Waking up early in the morning, workout/Yoga/Meditation. By following that routine, I feel fresh and Energetic which is required to work in office whole day. We need to be fit physically, mentally and emotionally to be success in our carrier.

Where are you working currently?

Tandon & Co. A law firm. That is a premier law firm rendering service to numbers of clients in different field with atmost satisfaction. I have been associated with that firm for a long period of seven years.

Any suggestion for new lawyer?

Work hard and keep patience is the first mantra to be successful in the field of practicing law. There is no shortcut to success specially in the filed of law. You need to put your efforts with atmost honesty. Practicing law demand lot of time and dedication. We should always be ready to learn even from youngers. Command on language and Communication skill is must for that profession.
