Tell me about yourself ?
I am an advocate. Im currently working.
What inspired you to make your career in the field of law?
My journey as a law student was certain as I got inspiration to become a lawyer from my brother who is a great litigation lawyer. I was prepared for being a law student since my 12th standard as I opted for Arts stream whereas rest of my friends were mocking me of choosing a field other than science or commerce. This was the big step that I took as a teenager going against all the wishes of my teachers and friends. Then, after declared as a topper of Arts in my high school, I came to my law college to enhance my skills for a better future ahead as a lawyer.
What are your strengths?
Principled – People with the Advocate personality type tend to have deeply held beliefs, and their conviction often shines through when they speak or write about subjects that matter to them. Advocates can be compelling and inspiring communicators, with their idealism persuading even the hardest of skeptics. Passionate – Advocates can pursue their ideals with a single-mindedness that may catch others off guard. These personalities rarely settle for “good enough,” and their willingness to disrupt the status quo may not please everyone. That said, Advocates’ passion for their chosen cause is a key aspect of their personality.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
I will be a better position than now. i will be settled in my professional and personal life.
Tell me about an accomplishment you are most proud of.
So far I am most proud of earning my LLM certificate . But, speaking honestly, I consider it just as a start of my journey, not an end. I hope to achieve many other things, both as a manager and as a man, father, son, and in any other roles I may have in my life. I love setting goals and pursue them with my work, dedication, enthusiasm.
What is your dream job?
Being an advocate
What would you look to accomplish in the first 30 days/60 days/90 days on the legal job?
“Within 30 days, I plan to get to know the people I’ll be working with the most and to be comfortable with them. Within 60 days, I plan to have a solid understanding of the industry, the company and the competitive landscape so that I can hold my own in any conversation about the company. Within 90 days, I plan to meet the goals that have been set for me.”
Discuss your educational background.
I have done LLB and LLM
Tell me how you handled a difficult situation.
Be calm. Losing your temper and flaring out at the other person typically isn't the best way to get him/her to collaborate with you. Unless you know that anger will trigger the person into action and you are consciously using it as a strategy to move him/her, it is better to assume a calm persona.
Someone who is calm is seen as being in control, centered and more respectable. Would you prefer to work with someone who is predominantly calm or someone who is always on edge? When the person you are dealing with sees that you are calm despite whatever he/she is doing, you will start getting their attention.
