I went to law school thinking I would end up a family law attorney in private practice. It did not take long to realize that private practice and litigation were not for me, and I began focusing on preparing for a non-traditional legal career. During 2L I took a class in real estate transactions and truly discovered my passion. I was fortunate enough to land a clerking position at a Fortune 500 in Omaha, which resulted in a post-grad job offer. I am currently in-house counsel at Fidelity National Title Group, where I work on real estate, property, and title related issues. A work/life balance is extremely important to me and I am thankful that I get to do what I love everyday and still have time to enjoy my personal life. Caleigh Stutzman, Esq. I was science student till 12th standard as I was bit interested in pcm rather than the commerce subjects. But after my higher secondary I decided to pursue law as there were some reasons behind it. Firstly I found it interesting and my sense of intellect suits this profession. Secondly, there were 3 cases going on in my family from past 5-6 years and It was not a very good experience as it takes so long to dispose the case. So then I decided that I'll be a lawyer and help my family and others around me to get justice and change the system of delayed tasks.
