Tell me about yourself ?
I love to listen to problem of others and find solutions. Those who rely on me, I never dissapoint them. Even if, the clients lost their case then also they are with me because I give my hundred percent.
What inspired you to make your career in the field of law?
During my college days, as I was a student leader, I found most of the disputes can be solved by effective communication. I discovered during those days that I am a good communicator/ Motivator.That thing inspired me to come to this field to find solutions to people's problems. One more advantage come by default when you listen to other's problem you forget to be bothered by your own problems. 😀
What are your strengths?
I am a good listeners and I am able to see 3 sides of a matter. That is the prosecution side, my client's defense and the judges point of view.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
Among top 3 Criminal lawyers of Bhadrak. Helping young lawyer in their avenue.Also to be associated with Child Care Institutions in some way. Serving for the Civil Society of Bhadrak in keeping communal harmony.
Tell me about an accomplishment you are most proud of.
Acquittal of my clients in a case. The innocent accused and his family members after their acquittal in gratitude. They want to give something towards legal fees but they dont have any. Their cry of happiness for their acquittal has given immense job satisfaction. Their gratitude and good wishes can never be quatified in terms of money. That is unfathomable love and respect.
What is your dream job?
Not interested in jobs! Yhebdream as a practisimg criminal. Lawyer is to physically in proper shape to go to the Court till the age of 90 and get acquittal for your clients.
What would you look to accomplish in the first 30 days/60 days/90 days on the legal job?
Of course, being a criminal lawyer I would like to get acquittal of my client as early as possible i.e. within 30 days/60 days/90 days. In reality, in Courts it takes time to get results for various reasons.
Discuss your educational background.
I have done my schooling, intermediate,graduation and LLB from adjacent Balasore District. I have done Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Development from NIHRD, Chhenai in distant mode. I have Science background in my intermediate level.
Tell me how you handled a difficult situation.
When things are under your control, that situation is not a difficult situation. So, bring things to your own control is proper handling of the situation in hand. So, one should keep his calmness in such situation to think properly wirb clarity and then there should be follow up action to accomplish what you have thought in your mind.
What motivates you?
When somebody unstintedly relied on me, I even work harder to a achieve his goals. Such faith of people on me propels me to put more effort to get the best possible result for him.Sometime children in distres also motivates me to do something for them.
Are you a leader or a follower?
Both. One can not be a leader from birth. Man sees the world and imbibes many things from many others. During their learning process they are followers. But when they become capable enough, they have a stand in matters around them. Then they become leaders.
What was the last law book you’ve read for knowledge?
Apart from Law Books and Journals," The Guide" by R. K. Narayan
Your interests apart from studies?
I am a avid lover of Dramas. I love to watch dramas. I have acted in lead roles of more than 30 Dramas.

It is a commendable effort to have Advocate Pedia Foundation. It may help young budding lawyers in many ways. But it should be watched at the same time. Inappropriate contents should not be there. It may do more harm than help.
Where are you working currently?
I am practising as a lawyer at District Courts of Bhadrak, Odisha. I am also Member of Juvenile Justice Board, Bhadrak.
Any suggestion for new lawyer?
Wait, wait and wait and when the opportunity come grab it with both hands without any fear. Advocacy field needs time. Even if over a period of time when you know how to do things then also the most important aspect will be to find clients. Because clients will always look for accomplished lawyers. So, your performance in Courts is of utmost importance. People knowingly/ unknowingly watch your performance in the court which in a later stage help you to drag clients to you.
